The CHWSD is excited to be hosting and co-sponsoring two conferences in 2026! Join the CHWSD in April for a two-day conference to support the CHW and CHR workforce in South Dakota. And plan to attend the 12th Annual Fall Forum – A Conference Co-Sponsored by the CHWSD and SD Health Link in October.

5th Annual SD CHW Conference
April 29-30, 2026 | Highland Event Center, 2000 Highland Way, Mitchell, SD 57301
This conference provides two days of education, networking, and breakout sessions to support CHWs, CHRs, Supervisors, and Allies. Presentations will include keynotes, panels, and breakout session. Breakout sessions will include presentations from practicing CHWs and CHRs to share their successes, impact, and lessons learned.
12th Annual Fall Forum – A Conference Co-Sponsored by the CHWSD and the SD Health Link
October 14, 2026 | Sioux Falls, SD
This conference provides insights, success stories, and trainings to incorporate technology and health data into daily practice. CHWs and CHRs will learn how to utilize the SD Health Information Exchange (SD Health Link) to better support patients in their care journeys.
